Club News August 2011

The U6′s had their medal presentation on Wed night, 3rd Aug. The players participated in a hurling and football mini tournament held within the club. Approx 30 members played football matches on Mondays and hurling matches on Wednesdays over the last number of weeks. The U-6 squad is, Adam K, Sean J, Kian, Mark S, Rory, Darragh N, Shane, Billy, Jack, A.J., Jake, Sarah, Owen, Mark T, Darragh K, Emer, Jesse, Eamon, Jack P, John, Josh, Robyn, Sean K, Darragh O’N, Nicky, Corey, Abbie, Killian, Adam M and Mikey.

The U16s boys travelled to Davidstown on Monday, !st Aug, for a practice game.
Hard luck to Joseph Sheehan who played for Lancashire last week-end in the All Ireland Junior Football semi-final in Newbridge against Kildare, Kildare won by 4 pts on a score line of 0-16 to 2-06 , Joseph played well throughout the game and made some excellent saves it was a great performance by Lancashire as they were given no chance of winning”
